One moment was all it took
One moment was all it took to change my mind.
Suddenly I felt an emptiness in the pit of my stomach.
Irrational, unprovoked, unreasonable.
So my mind changed.
Rapidly and unfocused I ran.
Away from my former mind
Always looking back, never turning around.
Slowly
Slowly
Slowly, the world begins to form itself again.
I slow to a walk.
